Dachshunds in the park...

We had 64 dachshunds and their people attend our Woodman Point walk on March 23.

  There was sunshine,

 "RYDER"
 "JETTA AND RYDER"

sea,

 "SMUDGE AND ELROY"

 "RYDER"
"JOSIE"

seaweed,

 "SWEEP"
 "SHEBA"
 "THE GANG"

and sand...

 "BARCLAY"

 "IZZY?"

 "ELROY"

 "WOLFIE"

" MAXIMUS AND BARCLAY"
 "MAXIMUS"

Some liked to walk...

  "MONTY"

"MIA"

 "FAYE?"

Others preferred to be carried.

"SCOUT"

 "NAMELESS NOPE"

There were ball sports.

And the wind gave the more fashion forward dogs a chance to show off the latest beach look - the single or double 'reserve ear flick'.

"BARCLAY"

"TILLY"
"BRUNO"
 "SHEBA"

The traditionalists kept thier ears tucked neatly forwards, or at least out wide...

 "ELROY"

"TED"

Even with all of the excitement some dogs just never loose their cool.

  "PEPE"

Then before we knew it, it was time to go home...

"HONEY"
"SMUDGE (aka Scruffy)"

Thanks to everyone who attended, with special thanks to Jo for organising and TJ for helping register new members.

If we have left your dog 'unnamed' or mislabelled, please let us know.  There is a lot going on on the day.

Our upcoming events are;

Sunday 21 April - North of the River (exact location to be confirmed)
Sunday 5 May - Riverside Gardens Bayswater (with a Hawaiian theme and fun events for end of season)
