The summer walk season 2012-2013 is drawing to an end. To celebrate, and raise some much needed money for Dachshund Rescue Australia, we're having a Long Dog Luau at Riverside Gardens, Bayswater on Sunday 5 May.
For a gold coin donation you and your furry friend can join in all the Hawaiian themed fun.
We are planning;
- Hawaiian shirts, dresses and dog bandanas for sale
- A dog and spoon race
- Best dressed dachshund (owners are encouraged to dress for the occasion too)
- Long Dogs WA Iron-on t-shirt transfers and bags
- A raffle
- Hot dogs (the eating kind)
- A Hawaiian themed photo booth (for you and your pooch)
- Delicious dachshund shaped cookies
RSVP and Registration
To help us plan the event we'd appreciate you letting us know if you can attend, either by email or via the facebook event.
On the day, we ask that you come and register with Jo on arrival and make your gold coin donation. We always get asked how many dogs attend, so please help us out by registering.
