May FUNdraiser- Red carpet event

Long Dogs WA is delighted to announce that our next FUNdraiser will be held at Kings Meadow Polo Ground in Guildford. We are really excited about this great new venue and think this event is going to be one to remember.

Time : 1-5pm
Location : Kings Meadow Polo Ground, Meadow St, Guildford




Our theme is red carpet, so if you're handy with a needle and thread, glitter gun or bedazzler, get your craft kit out and start creating.

For those of you with less creative flair (or time) we have some fabulous formal wear available for purchase. These outfits are $10 each, but we have  a limited number so get in quick.  To purchase an outfit, drop Jo a message on facebook, or email us at longdogswa@gmail.com. 

We have some cool prizes for the best dressed, and will be identifying winners in both shop bought and home made categories.

There are some great things planned for the day including a mix of free events and fundraising for Dachshund Rescue Australia.

• Paw Print art studio
• Red carpet photo booth (think about you'll be wearing if you want a picture with your pooch)
• Paparazzi style scavenger hunt
• Sausage in a bun
• Soft drinks
• Tea and Coffee

We will also have an exclusive range of dachshund themed items on sale including dachshund stubby holders, mugs, eco bags and bow ties. If you can't make it on the day, and you can't imagine your life without one or more of these treasures in it, drop us a line.

Remember to bring along;

• Your dachshund/s
• A camera or camera phone
• A pen
• Cash (we have no other payment facilities)
• A sense of humour
• A hanky to wipe away your tears of laughter

We regret that this event falls on the same day as the RSPCA Million Paws walk.  We did try to secure a different date, but were not able to do so this time around.  We hope that those of you who have signed up for the paws will be able to make it to both.
