Dachshunds in the Park - The Long Dog Luau

152 dachshunds dressed in loud shirts, grass skirts and bedecked in flowers.  What more could you ask for?

Over $3500 raised for Dachshund Rescue Australia. That breaks all of our records on turn out and fundraising.

There were some amazing costumes. Our competition winners were;

None of this would have been possible with our long list of supporters - those who gave of time, imagination, money and goods.  For this event we were able to offer food, drink, art works, toys, beds, wheat bags, shortbread, cakes, bags, photos, costumes, bandannas, place ribbons, cookbooks and more besides.

Thanks also to all of those who supported our volunteers on the day by minding their neglected dogs, and to family, friends and partners for all of their support in the days and weeks leading up to these events.  You guys are awesome.
